In the German Sacred Forum, you would've seen a *great* flame-war ! It's much more aggressive there ! In the German Sacred Forum, you would've seen a *great* flame-war ! It's much more aggressive there ! I wonder whether it has to do with the kind of players attracted by a game ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> It does. Any forum for FPS, RTS or multi-player games I've been to have been a nightmare. They're too competetive and egotistical. I just don't bother.

And even the third-person CRPG boards can deteriorate, if you don't have vigilant moderators around to prevent hotheads or trolls from wrecking havoc. Just not worth it.

I digress on your multiplayer argument.
Multiplayer games lead to development of new and interesting strategies and solid discussions.
I loved trying and flaunting weird builds in Diablo 2, and discussing the best party to take down Hell in 1.10

You must have found a good one. The one's I've seen have only had L33T15T5 throwing insults 'cos they knew years ago what you just found out. i believe they're out there, they're just a pain to find.

Actually the best team to go down to Hell in Multiplayer Diablo 2 is the Larian forum members team. We have a great time, we trust each other and we play just for the fun of it. We share and we learn. So perhaps it is about the kind of people and not the kind of game... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

here is the thread about it. In two words, it is new very promising MMORPG (online game). There is a demo available for download through Internet. Everyone can play it during E3, it is from 12 to 14th of May.
