Sure, archers are effective with those kind of personal stats, if you see my meaning. But you should be able to use a bow at a lower level (after all, there are arrows and bows everywhere in the early game) and make it effective. It simply isn't. A melee weapon is far more effective than ranged attacks, and I think that needs some rebalancing.
