Its certainly tough! I used a magical 2-handed sword and put every skill point I had into slashing and all its various sub skills and concentrated solely on the main baddy. It still took over 150 potions (healing, restoration, stamina) and probably ten minutes to finally take the baddy out! However, I felt the end cinematic was very much worth it!
