Anyone find a way to get the book of twilight without killing all the librarians?

Grab the book and use the teleporter stones to warp out?

That's what I did <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Didn't even have to fight the guards <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Another way.. split your chars => one at the exit one at the book - drag&drop the book with char A in single mode. Pause, switch to char B at the door => out.

Thanks for the info. But, while that does answer my question as stated, maybe I should have asked for a way of getting the book without making the librarians mad. Or is it possible to teleport out before they realize you have the book? If they are going to be hostile to me regardless, I might was well just kill them. I just thought that since I was trying to get on the good side of their people that I would try to not kill any if possible.

The only way to not get them mad is by not taking the book. You don't have to steal the book, you could decide not doing the quest.
