I was looking at the map, Citadel Lvl. I and it says that there is a Battlefield key just outside the gate, but I couldn't find it, do I have to do something first in order to get it??

The chest it is in is hard to spot but run your cursor around and it is there. You won't get the key for it for a while - but make sure NOT to go down the pit in the arena until you go back to the battlefield chest or else it will be a long wait until you can - that pit is one way.

Going through the gate back to where you started the game just go straight through the gate to where you can only turn right or left and the chest is a few feet away.

...it's hard to spot because it's behind a chain and a column of steam.

You can also drag and drop the entire chest into your inventory, then drop it once you find the key, rather than going back for it.

But does it matter if I have already got the BF key in Citadel 06 and Citadel 09 before I take the one in Citadel 01?

Because I just got the one in Citadel 01, and it says Battlefield level 2 is unlocked, but the one I got from Citadel 09 also says Battlefield level 2 is unlocked too. (I have already complete dungeon 1 and 2 in BF1)

If you get BF 2 key before BF 1 key => the message always gives you the highest level you unlocked. So, 2 dungeons should be unlocked in your case.
