I would go for weapons with no accuracy requirement to start with such as slashing or crushing. They are easier to use after sharpening, and sharpening is awesome.

I am at the start of act three and the 2h axe of my SK does 233-400 damage after being sharpened 4 times, the requirement is st 60 / Ag 40, if it had an agility requirement to start with I would not have been able to sharpen it 4 times and still use it with those stats.

Anyhow I am playing two warrior-mages. A 2h DK, and a 1h-shield hero, who acts like a hit soaker since he has very high resistance and shield blocking precentage, whereas the DK does more damage once he joins the fray. For the hero I beefed up Luck (he has about 80) and that affects the block rate quite a lot, he blocks much more than the 25% he is supposed to. Not to mention the party finds awesome stuff,...
