Sorry if you saw something too soon, but it should not have been a spoiler. In the very first conversation you have in the game you know that there is someone above Samuel:
DK: "...we have to escape from Damian's prison universe".
Hero: "Who is Damian?"
I for one, had actually figured out what was going on at this point, not clearly, but generally.
Once again, there was no intent to reveal anything that had not already been revealed in the game, ergo the warning and the use of the Spoiler function.
