Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Character portraits swapping - bug? (1.42)

I mentioned this in my 1.42 bugs thread, but wanted to start a separate thread for it to see if anyone knew anything about it or had a workaround.

When I enter Act II, my character portraits are swapped, and F1 becomes the DK / F2 the main char. Any way to change them back? Or avoid this altogether?

I'm playing a game that was started fresh with 1.42.

it was like that with the original version / 1.32 as well

Yeah, I haven't been able to figure out if it's really a bug or not, was hoping someone In The Know would comment.

Judging from the cutscene, I was thinking that maybe the DK had become my "main char" for Act II, and thus the swap...but in the quest log, it's still from the point-of-view of my other char (not the DK). Weird.

The thing that swayed me towards thinking it was a bug was that in the list of fixes for one of the patches, there's a mention of chars being swapped, and it being fixed...
