I'll check this evening when I get home, but I do have to let PowerDVD know a drive to plat DVD's in. I have 4 hard drives - 120GB w/2 partitions (C:,D:), one 13GB w/2 partitions (E:, G:), one unpartitioned 13GB (H:), and one unpartitioned 10GB (I:) and both a DVD/CD player (F:) and a DVD player/CD writer combo (J:)installed on the machine (I have a PCI card that will allow 4 drives, on which I added 2). DVD's will automatically play in either DVD drive. Do you think I need to disable PowerDVD when I want to play? I've always had PowerDVD & never had the problem.

I started getting the error message about DivDiv not being shut down correctly & then not being able to read the config files (& asking whether I had "permission" to alter files - remember I'm the administrator) after an unexpexted power loss, however, I uninstalled everything (even saved games) & reinstalled - never worked since. All drives except C: are FAT32, while C: is NTFS (as it was when I originally installed DivDiv & completed the game at least 3 times).

I'm about ready to try a dual boot system and put Win98SE on one of the other drives, since both games seem to work on my old machine - an Athlon 800, 640MB memory, 64MB GeForce4MX, DVD/CD writer combo, 13GB (C:)(operating system & a few apps) and 80GB (D:)(90% of software & other files). Only thing is, it means a bit o'work! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
