The skill design may or may not have been intentional, but the Larians did not seem overly concerned when I brought up this cumulative effect from sharpening at each skill level.
Considering how obnoxious learning 1 point in the skill, sharpening, learning 1 point in the skill, sharpening, etc until maxed is, I would hope this is something that's addressed, along with other broken skills.
