I have a high strength so should be able to carry quite a lot. I have noticed when I am overburdened I am way below my max weight. Does everyone else have this problem? Also why are some of the good items so heavy?

You might be suffering from the weight bug... Try unequipping one of your items, then re-equipping it. That usually sorts the problem out

I think the good items are really heavy as a kind of game balance. You can get a lot of really good bonuses - IF you care to carry the cost of a much reduced carry capacity.

Hopefully, the next patch will fix the current problem which adds an extraordinary amount of weight to amulets, rings and the like. They're really heavy!

Also, you can only carry about 700-1000 lbs under your weight limit before you become burdened (e.g. 2000/3000 becomes burnened). When you get a summoning doll try giving a lot of your junk to him to hold on to.

Hope this helps!

early on i grabbed everything i found, but in regards for trying to make money, once you get about halfway through act 1 (if that) you start finding special arrows, if you dont really need em, some sell for excellent money.. (up to like 150ish per arrow.. and you cna get 1000+ of those.. ) i had no problem after that buying charms and any better equipment iwante.d.

hmm the equipment gets heavier and heavier the better quality it is. So even my very powerful warrior can carry next to nothing because the equipment that he uses is so heavy. It is a problem But I guess the only real solution to the problem is to go to the battlefield merchants often. On the bright side you inventory dont get overcrouded with junk if you sell often and just maybe the merchants have a new ring of power to sell. Some have suggested using summening dolls as packmules but I havnt tried it my self.

Hi,

well there is a problem with magical items weight.
For instance you can have a 400 weight ring

It will be fix in the next patch.

Yes, I noticed. I have a nice orange titled necklace from a pre 1.42 patch that has the decency of just weighing 12 and then finding a post 1.42 patch necklace that ain't half as good but weighing in at 207 is a bit staggering.

It almost seems like the value assigned to the weight is the roll you need to beat on luck to find it.

Will be fixed in a patch IIRC - I hope so. When I think of my orange sandals... 383 weight now in 1.42. Not easy for a char without great strength

I'm sure it will all be fixed. Alternatively, I suppose Larian could convert those amulets into bashing weapons, given their sheer mass.

Heh. I feel silly now. I thought those items were given huge weights as a game balance thing because they were so good! I never thought of it as a glitch at all

Maybe they were supposed to be like the 'Halberd of the rock'
