as far as '65' squares. sounds like one of those fun iq tests where you have to include the 'square' of the board itself to get your 65 answer!
When I saw that "65" my first thought was a manuscript in the classroom (Sgt Brainwash or something was there teaching). One of the students was doing math and one of his answers on the manuscript was something like "2+3=6".
