Also watch out for disappearing crystals from your crystal bag. I had a medium fire crystal in the middle slot of my bag, and after loading the patch it's gone from all of my saved games! Not a big deal since I can presumably buy another one from someone... but still, a patch is supposed to fix bugs, not create new ones in its wake.
