I'm kinda hanging back until the patch thing stabilizes and was wondering when I do decide to patch and start over, will I need to download all the patches or just the most current one?

I sure do, from 1.4. But I remember from DD that it was just less frustrating to kick back for awhile and be patient with the patches. The games are worth it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Well, my save now IS from 1.4 (not 1.41). How far are you in the game? If you wish, I can experiment a bit? What would you like to be sure of?

If you wish to be one the safe side => rar/zip and backup your saves from 1.4 somewhere else. If you encounter probs, they are not lost, hm?

I just started Act II, so I'm not very far along. But you know how it is, you learn stuff as you go and pretty soon you start a new game.
