I know this has probably been covered to death before. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />I had an earlier post about merchants re-stocking items.I was told to patch my game.I am currantly
playing the game without any patches applied.I'm in Act 1 in the second battlefield.
Now my question.Which version or patch should I download? It seems from some things that I've read here that the patches have been hurting peoples games.
I've seen people talking about backing up saved games? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
I'm not very computer savvy,so I don't want to get in over my head here.
Thanks in advance from this dummy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Just download the latest, that's always best (Currently that's 1.44). People keep saying that you have to restart the game when you download a patch, but that's not true, unless that particular patch corrupts your savefiles, as was the case with version 1.41. But the thing with version 1.41 was that Larian noticed their mistake in really quick, and version 1.42 was released a few hours after releasing 1.41, so the damage was only done to a select amount of people.

Anyway, the latest patch doesn't hurt...
