Theire are a lot of a potions and they are very effectieve. For a minute I tought I was playing power rangers.

I was fighting the shaman and my mage was getting his [nocando] kicked. I only had used health and mana potions during the game and had alot of strenght intelligens .... potions in my inventory.

Man it was like my character was transforming into a monster. All stats were of the charts (strength from 12 to 102 intelligence from 40 to 200). That shamen was toast with those powerfull spells and I had my warior chopping into that imp that I gave all my agillity potions.

How long do the potions last, though? (about, like long, medium, short, very short duration, etc.) I haven't tried them so I am curious.

Yeah, I wanna know too. I have alot of them, but I don't want to waste them, until a part in the game where I really need them.

i kinda wonder why i hear so many complaints about that imp shaman?
being so difficult and all...

i just killed the guy, worked from the first try, i used 1 small healing potion during the battle (and that was because the water deamons behind him kept blowing spells on me...)

no buffing potions on my chars, just my own characters...
if i see reactions of ppl on these boards, i'd start to think i mis-made my character (skills etc) ... but apparantly i manage pretty well

That's possible - or you're playing at another difficulty setting

Yeah, I'm playing on Action as well. I also don't find the game terribly difficult but I haven't tried the harder game modes so I cannot say if they are more of a challenge. With the new slider it should be easy to find out I guess.
