Wow thats interesting,cause i had a staff which did 5-10 damage(with deathblow) and yet after a while(15 hits??), the drummer just crumpled up and died.
My archery skills were great yet,i couldnt kill him with my bow.
I suppose though that getting him to fight is the best option.
