Fortunately for us people like Mandrake & Lews ain't doctors. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> You can never predict if the life you save is worth saving so you have to save them all.
Not to start a flame war but I don't believe living in an average city is any less dangerous than smoking. Don't believe the catalytic converters on your car will save you either. There's still enough carbon monoxide and cyanide in an average exhaust emission to rival a breath of passive smoke. Not to say emissions haven't improved however. I remember as a child growing up near our local steelworks and seeing a massive red sky in the daytime. (Clouds of rust)
Anyway, I live in a city AND smoke, so I'm F*cked! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> I just hope my genes behave themselves and my body can tolerate the abuse I give it.
