What do you mean you don't see a difference in the version? It's now 6.14.0010.6444, which is the latest. It was older in your first dxdiag output. Anyway, obviously that wasn't the problem... I'd try updating your other drivers though...motherboard, sound, etc. I don't think it could be a hardware compatibility thing because it looks like everything you have is pretty standard.
