Ok, Just got Beyond Divinity, loaded the game, and dont have action sounds; opening a barrel, picking up gold, fight sounds, equiping armor, etc....
loaded new patch, didnt fix, unloaded, and reloaded the game from the start, added patch, didnt fix. Not sure what to do now. Also, under the sound options, in the manual it says there is a "comments" option, but that is not present in my game. I have no voice for my hero as well.
I have a new Audigy 2 Platinum ZS soundcard, checked settings in dxdiag, all shows good. Also about 2 months ago I played the demo, and all sounds worked fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I can sort of play the game this way, but never hear if someone behind me is attacking me until I see my health start to go down.
