both of my characters started out as warriors but for some reason i do not have the option to spend training points in the "two handed weapon skill" slot only the one handed training is available...both characters are currently using 2 handed weapons but there is no way to train the skill, their both level 5 BTW

is this normal?

You do realize that to aquire certain skills you have to find teachers, right? Well, I believe that you'll be able to learn the two handed weapon skill in the Battlefields of the first act even. If you're level 5, you probably don't have access to the Battlefields yet though. Just keep a look out for that BF key.

In the meantime you might find teachers in the normal game aswell, but I don't think any of them teach the 2 handed weapon skills. But look anyway, just ask NPC's if they have something to teach you or not.

Good luck. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Try these teachers for 2-H melee skills, I think they are correct, but you will have to check, it is hard to remember all of the trainers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> :

1) Weapons Master in the Barracks area of Act I (trains to level 6)

2) Olaf in the Battlefield of Act I (trains to level 8)

3) The Paladin you can talk to near the end of the first Crystal Fragment Summoning Quest (trains to level 10)

Yeah, the Paladin at the Cursed (well, not cursed anymore) Abbey trains like any 2-Handed weapon to level 10.

Additional question: I don't understand what the Two-Handed Accuracy skill means. The first skill point gives you something like "86% of Accuracy" and additional points take it up over 100%. Does this mean the first skill point lowers your accuracy (-14%) or do you actually get an +86% boost from one skill point?

No.
It is a bonus on your accuracy, you should read it like 100% + 68%
So if your accuracy is 20 then now you have a accuracy of 33 (maybe 34)

B'uddy 'ell! That was certainly worth the skill points!

Thanks for that!
