I have something heavy on the alt key.
You can't target critters of baddies that way.
Combine with the melee char on aggro and the mage on lead with lightning storm as right click.

I find one of the most annoying features of BD to be that if you miss by just a little bit trying to move your team you may aggro every frog in the multiverse. And then they all croak.

So I mostly go out of combat mode in many areas and move in peace mode - switching back and forth is almost as annoying as killing those thousands of frogs - but not quite (it isn't just frogs, of course, you can hostile so MANY types of entities).

Reality is for those who cannot cope with fantasy. Fortunately, I can cope quite well.

I have made peace with murdering animals. In fact, I have made peace with murdering in general.

I mean... Am I the only one who didn't even concider wearing a disguise in the citadel? Am I the only one deliberately clicking on animals that are still friendly towards me?

Although killing animals seriously cranks up the difficulty of the game. Even if some animals are just level 1 or 2, they can be "in the way" when you're fighting other creatures.

But it's all good. I like it this way.

But, Ariana, wasn't the gay medic sweet? Or those hungry soldiers, thinking lizards are delicate? Some were forced to join the army as you can learn by some comments. And what about the letter in the recruit room? About Andras, who "disappeared"? No pity for the poor dishwasher? Or laughing/speaking leading to severe penalties?

I considered my blowing up the Citadel merely as destroying the entrance... not killing. Don't take away my illusions?

I blew up the whole freaking thing! But in my game we also ate the guards

Well there is also the matter of all the poor imp slaves around i guess they have to learn to swim (in lava) if they are going to get out on top from blowing up the citadel. I think it has become clear that you need to carefully contemplate every action you take inorder to minimize the amounts of death innocent little creatures.
By entering the imp village we also condem a whole village and my DKs imp girlfriend to death by the hand of Sammy. Well I guess we could not have known at the time, but how can we play the game again knowing the consequences for the entire population of imps, tibars, rats and many other creatures who will loose there lives just because we are tired of being prisoners.
These are the big questions

I hang my head in shame and consider jumping into the lava... or should I jump into the Mushroom Forest and beg the EA to make an end to my existence?

NOT all died in Imp Village - there are still enough hoppers, flooges, spiders etc.. And the imps were intruders, brought along by their brothers, the demons.

Do not be shamed Kiya,
the end justifies the means, and in the tales that will be told of our great hero´s adventures in many a tavern across the dimensions, maybe the bard will remember the noble sacrefice of all the little people that made it possible.
Ps I love coffee too

Uhm, not really Kiya. The Imps have always been in that world. One of the books even describes the supposed battle between a demon (I'll look up name when I get home) and Raan through which first the Imps are created then the Raan.

Then there are the books on how to select/train/treat your imp.
And the novel that is included in the pre-orders indicates that imps have been around so long that the Raan don't even notice them any more when they scurry around doing the tasks that the Raan expect them to do (The one reason that Damien could steal the crystal).

When the demons invaded their land, their little cousins, the imps, came along. Many imps stayed behind when the demons were driven out. The imps made small villages in the mushroom forests of this world. It became their new home. Like the demons, the imps were also weakened, robbed of most of their magic powers by the protection crystal. The Raanaar accepted their new neighbors as their servants, and although the imps were not treated badly, they were far from being truly free.

Taken from "facts about the Raanaar"

Well, with all this rift business anyway it's probably some sort of alternate dimension

Just do like Star Trek, use the transporter in a unconventional way and all will be good.

Someone called on the great demon behind Startrek Treknobabble
Run and hide your copy of before it converts the quests to cheezy cliches

Ok but now on a more serious note. good point.

Well the game went like that in the old DivDiv.You got more EP there when you did the good guy-which would have been my choice anyway. I don´t like to play the bad one- there are enough fellows(adversaries) of that making in every RPG so you have your hands full in all battles.
Another small question: must Beyond Div be so hard to play, even in the easiest version?? My hero has died too often for my taste.

there are other worlds than this...

Most actually think it is far to easy, but yes it is a little difficult in the beginning of the first act. If you find it too difficult my suggestion would be
1. Find the first battlefield key
2. go there and kill of some weak enemies and accumulate some gold
3. buy new and better equipment from the battlefield merchants. They respawn every time you leave and enter again so just do that a few times until you find some good equipment.
4. save often
5. have many health potions at hand
6. use pause during the battles

If you do one or more of the above you should have a reasonable easy time getting through. And very soon you too will be complaining that it is to easy

Heh, am I the only one who play evil? I've grown tired of playing a Paladin in game after game saving the world for the greater good. So, the new theme I play in games is that I'm just as evil as the one I'm fighting. I'm saving the world because I want to destroy it, and I'm not letting some other overconfident fool beating me too it.

Too bad the dialogue never quite gives you an option to play like this. It would have been a nice twist tho. I hope I can play evil some day in these games.

/Illuminatis

P.S. This means I do whatever serves me best, if sparing a life give more exp and items than killing I do don't kill, otherwise they're dead meat. D.S.

Begone foul servant of the dark side or I míght chastice thee with mine sword of light
Well I suppose there is some point in being evil (gives more exp) and the dark side is stronger (because of the more exp) my dear evil overlord wanna be. I believe that Larian called your approach enlightend self interest in DD.
