I tend to play "lawful good" and won't kill a NPC just for gain.

On the other hand, what I see in the citadel aren't innocent civilians going about their business - they are the army of a supposedly evil demon who is doing bad things to many people. I see no moral dilemma in wiping the place out in the hope of slowing the demon's conquests, slaughters, tortures etc.

As a "good" aligned player I feel that the "lava" ending to chapter 1 is appropriate (to destroy the demon's physical resources as well as personnel) so anyone I kill would have died anyway, I figure. What a waste <smile> to let them die without contributing xp and loot to the cause of good!


Reality is for those who cannot cope with fantasy. Fortunately, I can cope quite well.
