what's the system behind it? I have pickpocket level 6 and i am supposed to be able to rob people lower than level 30 naked but after i liberated a few items i can't borrow anything anymore...

Why's that?

can steal 1 item per level in pickpocket
and a few more with the other char.
This was to prevent people like me and Kiya from robbing the battlefield merchants from everything they had then sell it back to them in bits and pieces.

I wonder why they did it, Velthuijsen.... I saw nothing wrong in my economic transactions - you? It was a perfect flow => their gold and goodies into my pocket. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

Row upon row of neatly placed items, each area it's own category. The only thing that was missing were little plaques saying where it got it and how <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
I believe I had just about everything in rivellon that wasn't bolted to the ground or a container stored there. That included furniture <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Veltie, we're born too late in an antique world - no one treasures the fun of historical archaeological research nowadays. It's a pity you didn't screenhot it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

Same goes for free trade - restricted now... No Robin Hood anymore, I can't build rows and roads with my crystals, charms (every symbol, size etc. neatly separated) - I'm even deprived of wading through my riches at one go - I have to click myself through.

Well, there are still items I can... ahm, bring into my possession, without a fight... but I won't post this anymore. Big Brother might clamp down on these, too. I'll simply collect them silently <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

I remember collecting a mountain of stuff in Ultima VIII, had my own little black market sort of speak, got to a point where i was taking some stuff from a house, accidentally dropped it on the stairs and locking myself in the room since I couldn't pick the item up anymore and thus blocking my only way out...
