I think I remember what you are talking about - the house right after you cross the lava? I had the exact same problem - the exit is VERY small, and the bottom of the oval area that makes up the interior of the house. Just go round the edges of the house with your mouse pointer VERY slowly and you'll find it near the bottom. I thought I was stuck and it was a bug at first, but it's there.
