Well I just finished the game and I must say. I loved it. The final battle

heart rithem racing, potions popping, spellscasting, critical hits hitting, ...

That was the best End Boss fight ever. (Why weren't theire more battles like that)

And the ending all i'll say is "24 ending writers eat your heart out (here is a spoon)"

so when is ² coming out? I want it now. I want to know what happens with the thing at the theing in the thing over by that thing (you knwo what I am talking about )

overall conclusion of the game:

Some minor stuff. (skill system (my mage archer had 4 skills and my hero also 4 skills a bit of wast considering how manny squars theire are to fill in that skill system box))

combat was a bit borring at the end My mage could litterary kill everything (30 enemies at a time with a hammer (level 6 (checked kiya my hammer is level 6 )) or my thunder strom level 10. Combat in the beginning was great but how further my char went the more hack & slach it was EXEPT the final battle.

some major stuff
I like Nemisis, but the acts really hamper my sence of freedom and make the game more linear then I like. theire are no subquests that cross act bounderies. I feel that the sidequests have no impact on my game (exepts for XP points) or on the main quests.

I would have liked quests like "get a key from one of the 7 masters (the masters would then give you sub quests) but if you choose one master you offend 2 other masters that send theire students to teach you a lesson. some thing like guilds.

some good stuff.

The writing the music the gameplay, the party system the dolls, the crystal bag... All great innovations that I will hopefully see again in ² (a party of the divine one and the paladin from would rock)

the humor was pure british humor flavored with a bit of that good ol belgium humor sence.

story :

Hello nobzel price litarature

music:

hello "koniging elisabeth wedstrijd" winner

game play

addictive
(darn you exams )

Sorry coming into this late and not sure I followed it all. Does this mean that no skill could be higher than level 5?

Just curious.

Thanks.

In 1.1? No, Tiffin, there are skills up to 5, 6, and 10 - not higher, but the BF traders don't play the role they do now by selling you super skills. So, as an example: there is only ONE teacher for Shaman Hammer in the whole game => and if you missed that => bad luck. Nature magic had lvl cap 5, weather magic lvl cap 10. Bow only went up to 6 (but if IIRC, the 6th one was buggy => BF trader)

Or Morbo's lightning => level 5 by ONE teacher in the game in Act 2 and then only ONE, you had to find for lvl 10 in Act 3. See? that's the difference.

No overpowered tanks or magic hurling Arnold Schwarzeneggers, complaining the game is too easy. No respawn of items - only via act change. If you butchered the Citadel in Act 1 mindlessly => bad luck, no 2-hander skill (not sure about that one in the BF though), no repair, no sharpen weapon, blablabla. And lvl 10 for 2-hand IIRC only one teacher in Act 2.

And this made the game tactical => you had to take care of your ressources, not walz your way through. NPC were far more important for the game, take the unique item "holy water" => only 1x in the game, and the appropriate level for perm potions in Act 4, in a book, you had to find.

I beat it yesterday so I guess 3 weeks? maybe 60-80 hours in that timeframe. Very good ending I reccomend anyone who feels the way I do to keep going on because the ending is well worth it.

3 weeks? lol ! I finished it after 3 days !!! Maybe because i didn't use BF to much ... My hero was lvl 29 i think

Quite a task, Chechen - finding 1853 bugs and finishing the game in 3 days as well
