The crypt is in act three near the temple - you need the key from Kiya <smile> to enter so you won't get in early in the act.
I had no luck there - but I may know why. As soon as I left the first room the doors locked and I could never get back in - and I had left some lights on in that first room. I turned off every other light sorce in the place but noticed nothing special as a result.
