There is a seperate section for bugs and other technical help, by the way. This section is for spoilers.
That is a known bug supposedly fixed by the latest patches but with potential issues on old save games - read through the technical help forum or do a search to find threads discussing your problem (I don't recall the details so that is all I can say to help).
