Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks A few Questions...any suggestions would be great

1. What are the best categories in the 2 handed skill to put points in?

2. Potions besides the red, blue and white, are the others worth keeping? Do you really need a constitution potion or stamina potion etc.?

3. Does anyone have a break down of a good level to finnish each act at?

4. Are the battlefield dungeons extremely borring, or is it me?

I typically sharpen every good weapon I have from time to time and move my skill points to whatever category the best weapon is in (best factoring in speed, initiative etc. not solely raw damage).

I found the others marginally useful but not worth worrying about.

All I recall is finishing the game at 30 and act 1 about 11.

Randomly produced dungeons tend to lack character and the enemies are typically too low a level for you by the time you arrive <nods>.

Try to keep Damage and Accuracy about the same level up to level 10. Any other points after that put into Critical Hits up to Level 10, then start on Deathblow if you have any points left before the end of the game.


If you mean what type (i.e. Slash, Pierce, Crush) I always use Slash. Crush has the advantage of a stun I think, but have not used it.

Damage and Accuracy. Don't neglect Sharpen Weapon, though! It adds a lot more damage to weapons, though it adds an Agility requirement too.

They're boring. I don't mind a mindless hack-fest once in a while, though.
