Judging by the relative emptiness of my quest log, I think I'm starting to near the end of Act II. However, I'm sutck, and I can't figure out what to do next.

1.) There's a cave on the "forest" part of the Imp map (the eastern section, where the alchemist lives), way to the south, vaguely east, and I can't get to it because the way is completely clocked off by lava vents. Is this normal, and what am I supposed to do about it?

2.) What on earth is one supposed to do with the teleporters in the same forest? Presumably there are three of them, but one is hidden under the shroud and I just keep going back and forth with the other two.

3.) Where on earth is the quisirisi fruit? I've already got the other two parts.

4.) Is there some connection between questions one, two, and three that I've missed, explaining why I"m stuck?

And, a bonus -- can I expect to find the level three battlefield key any time soon? Three of my five BF quests have ended up in the last dungeon, by default, and even though the BF bores me to tears I want to get the dang things off my quest log.

Sorry to pester with so many questions. When I played DivDiv I had a walthrough bookmarked for those few times I got totally stuck, but since I didn't wait a few months to get this game, there's no walkthrough for me yet. Heh. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Normal. Use an old DD trick - toss one of your teleporter stones across the lava (making sure to leave one on the ground so you can return).

>2.) What on earth is one supposed to do with the teleporters in the same forest? Presumably there are three of them, but one is hidden under the shroud and I just keep going back and forth with the other two.<

Again, your own teleporter stones are the key. Teleport to the island, drop a stone, take the return teleporter trip and now use YOUR stone to get back. That way you can use the teleporter when it has a different setting.

>3.) Where on earth is the quisirisi fruit? I've already got the other two parts.<

That may be the one that a lot of people miss. Entering the woods turn right (south) and just head around counterclockwise - hit alt occasionally and you will find it just above some lava.

>4.) Is there some connection between questions one, two, and three that I've missed, explaining why I"m stuck?<

Oddly enough <smile> no.

I don't recall because I never go to BF dungeons after the first - by the time I get later keys the enemies are too low a level for me. The quests are automatically wiped off your log as you change chapters so you needn't do them.

Hey - we LIKE answering questions. It isn't often I get to beat Raze and Kiya to some nice juicy ones <broad grin>. Thanks.

By the way the forum has a nice search feature - you could have gotten these answers by using it and saved yourself some time waiting for answers.

Reality is for those who cannot cope with fantasy. Fortunately, I can cope quite well.

Well, the waiting was natural, since I had to go to bed and to work (stupid adult life!), but they'll come in handy very soon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I never even thought of the teleporter stones, hehe. Because of the portable bed and the easy access to battlefield merchants for trading/repair, I've been carrying them both around in my inventory generally unused (whereas in DD I had one sitting right next to a straw bed in the middle of the marketplace, and it was lovely until they got stolen, but at least I had teleporters by then. But I digress).

The enemies are too low a level for me, too. (My characters are probably going to hit level 20 before I finish Act II, or maybe in the process.) But if I can pick up any XP or interesting items for getting to the bottom of the level 3 dungeon it's worth a try. Plus, I finished Act I before I meant to, with things undone, so it's more of a personal thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> I doubt I'll bother in act III, unless there are more creatures who leave behind arrows when I kill them. (I totally cleaned up with all the Citadel Rangers in the Act II battlefield, because they all left Normal Arrows behind, which I then converted to a nice, free stack of Splitting Arrows.)

Anyway, that's lots more than anyone wanted to know. Thank you for your prompt and thorough answer! And I'll remember the easrch feature next time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
