Pacifism = weakness. Pacifism, much like communism, is a superb ideal, but only works if EVERYONE agrees to it. It only takes one greedy, powerhungry person to take advantage of it and ruin it for everyone!
I've read people writing that "america is a dangerous country". Why ? If here in Europe people and countries would try to end their connections to "america", the U.S. could invade and bomb any country here in Europe !
That's very *extreme* description of what I've read, but it catches the tune. "Americans" take what they want, and they don't ask for morale, ethics, countries, whatever. That's the impression people get by the Iraq war. Therefore "america" is dangerous.
