Am getting perplexed I have tried all available ways to get through
the locked door after the five rooms with levers to no avail. This is
where the ghost told me to beat Samuel out before he gets us.

As I recall there is a key lying around (don't recall if an enemy drops it or if it is just there as you arive).

There is a sapphire key, use ALT => it's under the stone pile.
