Maybe I'm not making myself clear. Helping people is good. I do it because I WANT to, not because I have to, and it should be the same for everyone. Its all about choice. Take away choice and you are left a slave.
What if you didn't want to help someone?, For ex. homeless or mentally ill individuals, we as a society have a responsibility to take care of these people whether we want to or not. Removing choice does not make you a slave, if you have kids you can't choose not to take care of them, you can't choose to drive over people with your car.., being a member of society means that you frequently have to do things that you would rather have chosen not to do.
