Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Act I Blowing up Citidel & Poisened Imp Quest.

OK, I met Samuel and fought my way out of his room. I got the treasure and have completed most quests in the citidel. I still haven't healed the poisened imp and was thinking of skipping that quest but saw in another post that this quest is important. Can I skip it??

Also, I can't open the door to the black smith to blow up the citidel. Did I miss a key or lever somewhere??

the key to the forge is in Sam's chambers.

The poisoned imp gets you your act I summoning doll.
If you don't have it by now though, I doubt it's gonna be of much use in later acts (except maybe as a suicide detect-traps device). So if you really want to have your summoning doll, you can do the quest, otherwise just leave it.

Is it better to end act 1 by letting the lava flow or to simply walk up the stairs to the south of the lava room?

Makes a difference of 22464 XP (blowing up) - leaving via key => 0 XP. Choose for yourself, if you need these pts or not <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> (I did, cause I don't level up in the Battle Fields) - maybe you don't?
