Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Act Two - Battlefield crash

I'm currently in Act Two, I have three battlefields opened, and I have the latest patch (1.44). The problem? Everytime I click the icon to take me to the battlefields, it goes to load, but then just freezes. I've tried it numerous times and each time I end up having to manually switch off my computer. It won't even let me esc or ctrl+alt+delete.

Anyone have a solution?

Hm, does the time to load the BF for the first time per Act take longer now? Is your PC really freezing, or just loading very very slowly, due to BF generation?

I gather, you have visited the others in earlier acts and know how long it usually takes?

pandress, your computer isn't frozen at all, it just seems that way, since you can't Alt-F4 or Alt-tab out of the game. I've had to wait a full 10 minutes for the BF2 to load up.

You see, the reason is because the BF's have to be randomly generated first time you start up. However, next time you enter will take a matter of seconds.

So please, allow at least 15 minutes before saying that it's frozen. Go get something to drink or something... And don't worry, next time you start up the Bf's, it will be faster.
