How do you solve the teleporter quest in act III?

It's not that hard
<span class='standouttext'>Spoiler : </span><span class='spoiler'>Keep on teleporting until you come across (somewhere in the middle) the Earth Elemantal King.</span>

If that isn't enough help
<span class='standouttext'>Spoiler : </span><span class='spoiler'> Talk to him and explain to him the cause of his loneliness. U get a teleporter stone (red) from him and this will fix the broken teleporter in that area (click on it) and thus stopping the random teleporting</span>

This is all fine and well. I managed to find the Earth Elemental King and he gave me the red teleporter gem but I still can't see or get to the table or whatever it is that the gem needs to be placed on. I have tried approaching from every conceivable angle and I continually get teleported away. I have tried using the pyramids to try and teleport closer but that doesn't work either. Everytime I try to teleport to the pyramid I get teleported as soon as I get there. So can someone tell me if there is a specific way you have to approace the area to be able to use the gem and stop the teleportation?

Hm, I was lucky: I killed the King and by scrolling up a bit, I saw the teleporter and clicked on it => chars ran up and I could insert it. I was south of it and south of the stone formation near it.

I think I've tried approaching from the south very slowly and scanning ahead to see if I can see anything but to no avail up to this point. I'll give it another try tonite or tomorrow and if I still don't have any luck I guess that will be one quest that goes unfulfilled.

I'd try to approach it from south - where the rock formation is - and if not - just send it, I'll be home in about 2 hrs and try my luck then, ok?

Sorry for the delay in answering.....I have version 1.44. Hopefully, I won't need to send it to you. Going to work on it and see if I can get it done. But in any case, thanks again for your offer Kiya.

When you get to the king, you can reach the teleporter pad without being teleported away. However I also went a direction other than north west when I got to that point, and spend a lot of time teleporting around trying to find the right approach.

IIRC (not sure) I was east of the teleporter and headed north to get send back to where the elemental king was. In any case, the correct location has a lava pit directly south that emits bursts of flames periodically (at 1024x768 it is at the bottom of the screen when you teleport there).
