Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Stuck on the other side of the walls??????

I am in the beginning of Act 2 and while I was in the prison, I decided to explore the battlefields. I must have been really close to the stairs (exit) of the prison, because now when I leave the battlefields and come back to the prison, I am stuck "behind the walls" - in the black area - where no one is supposed to be and since I can't walk through the walls, I am stuck. I can reload from a saved game, but I will lose a lot of game time and if there is a way to fix this, I would prefer that. I have seen monsters "behind the walls" in several maps.

Dont worry, you are not the only one...lol I got stuck but if you can leave and enter a BF, you should be ok , and not wind up in the wall. My DK got stuck, and I left him behind...went up some stairs and then he popped up right beside me again. At least I am not the only one. However, both the DK and myself are stuck behind the wall, and there are no stairs to get to. I keep clicking on the stairs, but I can't get to them. I have tried entering and exiting the BF's, hoping that somehow I will be moved to the correct side of the wall, but no such luck.

If both your characters are stuck in the void you will have to reload a saved game I'm afraid.

One possibility that I did not try for that problem is going to the battlefield then coming right back. Try that and see what happens.

I was just playing around, entering and exiting the BF, each time, moving my characters to different places (real close to the walls) - and......finally, one of my characters ended up on the correct side of the wall, so I exited out of the stairs and the DK followed me. Whew!!! So, I didn't have to reload after all.
