I have one little nag about <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> and about <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> in general, both games have this, well... what I call lack of logic. When your attacked and your attention is elsewhere, your character just stands there, he/she will just stand there and get beaten to death. I know the onus is on the player to choose combat, and its's only a mouse click, but it seems very silly that your character can get hit and not respond. Call me picky if you like. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

i call u picky. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
really! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
oh well, if u have your PC to respond in kind, & let's say u're a mage, does he/she cast spells or just hit 'em with the stick? whatever in hand or what? one will call the other & eventually this thing will grow large ..... what i mean is that this issue will be more than just about the character responding in kind. well, we'll see if larian can do something about it.

Thanks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> I'll change my name to "Picky Foxfaye" later <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> What I was thinking was that the character would respond with whatever weapon was equiped, A kind of failsafe until a command response can be made.

Welcome, Foxfaye! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> (Yay! Another Australian! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> )
If you right click a character portrait, you can set them to Agressive mode. So long as that character isn't the leader (the leader has a gold box around their portrait), they will automatically attack all foes in sight. Though I found it necessary to give weaker characters a ranged weapon for this as too much melee can be bad for one's health.
It's not quite what you're asking for, but it's something. If your characters are near each other, the Agressive one will draw foes away from the leader.

Thanks HandEFood, I'll do that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I havent experimented with the agressive mode yet, I'm still finding my feet with this game. Yeah, another Aussie, although on the other side of the country. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
