i keep dying because i always look at my healthbars too late!
in sacred there was some sort of red circle that flashed over the entire screen, really handy and i need it bad in this game. i had to restart the first dungeon about 4 times because of this smirk
and yes i know how to save, im always too late with that too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

yup, that's a frustration of mine as well. There are warnings for encumbered and weapon almost destroyed, but no warning for almost dead.

There is always the healthbar <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. Just remember looking at it, that's all. I mean even Morrowind didn't have a low-health warning and, judging from your avatar, you like that game.

yeah i know, but somehow i fail to see it in this game. i think its because its in the upper right corner, if it were in the lower left corner id see it. yeah maybe <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

btw i never die in morrowind heh, no need for a warning there <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Just play in a lower resolution like 800x600, so the healthbars take up a larger portion of the screen.

Then compensate the loss of detail by raising the FSAA...

Yes, it might be that. After all, so many games (including Divine Divinity) had the health in the bottom corner.

Perhaps they could put in the next patch a way to move things down so that it is in the lower corner. When I die it is from watching the action not my health bar.

I must admit I hardly get to see the action at all as I am constantly watching the health bar, so an early warning system would be very welcome. Maybe the characters could flash or something, it would be nice to see a bit of the action though.

A warning would be great. even better would be an option that when you've got a low health the game pauses.

Yeah sure, why not... And while we're making lazy suggestions anyway, we might aswell get the game to auto-use potions if you're low on health, mana or stamina...

And why stop there? Weaker enemies should just drop dead when I see them, because I don't feel like spending time killing them. They're only in the way anyway.

Oh, and the game has to tell me exactly where to go and what to do at all times. Why bother figuring out quests?

I like your idea but why stop theire. Why not put a movie on a cd that shows the game beeing played.

Yes I know what your thinking

But Morbo won't a movie limit your sence of freedom.

Yes but look at these advantages

No more bugs
No balacing issueas
No quest breakers
...

I think they should at least concider this <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Nonono, I disagree - having someone to play the game for me puts me into the position to argue, blame, nag and accuse this person of playing totally incompetent. Do you want to deprive me of this fun? Let alone the valliant battle of fighting for mouse command.
Kiya <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Hm, maybe a CD showing one playing/one nagging and I have 50 speech packs to choose from. On the other hand... too much linearity then <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />

Even better. Have someone else buy the game and finish it for you.
Looks like that's what I've done <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />.

I think some sort of indicator would be good. If you're eyes are foused on battle, you don't see the problem indicators at the corner of the screen. Even an agonising cry would be a good indication.
