I have the same problem.
I've found him, but i can't talk to him. Whenever i click on him nothing happens.
Some1 say that a cut scene start when you approach the alchimist.
I try approach him , enter exit again, but nothing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
I run the game with the patch 1.45.
