I was just put in the dungeon by Janus' Advisor. Now it wants me to escape the dungeon. I've searched all through the place and got to the final cave where the Cyrion creature is waiting. I've tried everything and he can pretty much kill me with 1 or 2 good hits. Am I supposed to kill him to get out of that dungeon or do I have to find another way? The room he is in is pretty much empty except for a chest I can't unlock and a ladder that leads up through a trap door to a previous lvl of the dungeon.
I'd love to get out of this place. Any help would be appreciated.

One possibility is to kill Iona's pet and climb the ladder to the exit (eventually you can get to that ladder without being killed?)

Another possibility is to retrace your step up to the first level, there also is an exit from the dungeon. (You can always come back again later to get rid of the pet)

The exit from the dungeon is on the first level? Hmm, I'll have to search for that. As for the Cyrion, yeah I can climb the ladder no prob, just as long as you don't approach the creature too close he won't attack. Or I just use Shadow potions and walk past him.

The exit is on the first level, to the far west. If you found and activated the 3 ancient pyramids (triggering a guardian skeleton of some type for each), it would activate the teleporter pad in the centre to get you to the exit. You can also just head west, though.

For Cyrion, you can apparently toss chicken meat on the ground to distract him briefly, so you get the first couple hits in.
Warriors can drink a shadow potion and use their spin attack near (but not directly on) a creature, to hit it without turning visible. Burning Wall would probably be effective, or Blind / Hell Spikes.

For the chest, drag the skull on top of the chest into your inventory and try again.
