I have yet to see the duplicating crystals bug under 1.45. I saw it repeatedly under 1.44 so I assume it is fixed.
On the other hand, I just crashed to desktop from act 3. I had just picked up three crystals from the temple area (the ones lying on the ground) and went to put them in my bag to replace some smaller ones. As soon as I clicked on one of the medium crystals to remove it I was out of the game and on my desktop. Perhaps the fix has had some uninteded side effects as that never happened to me under any older patches.
Edit - I have tried several more times without replicating the crash - obviously it does not occur a large percentage of the time.
