I don't think what you describe is possible Mr. Bean. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Allthough.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

The reversal of the magnetic north and south has happened a few times. Your circus plate analogy. I like that. Are you talking about the spinning of the earth's core there? Maybe that would cause the effect you describe. As the shift occurs, i.e. magnetic north and south change places, severe weather changes could occur. Nobody knows how long the process takes either....

The axis of rotation of the planet has never shifted as far as I know. Its always been about 23 degrees off from totally straight up and down. Its the very reason we have seasons. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

" Road rage, air rage. Why should I be forced to divide my rage into seperate categories? To me, it's just one big, all-around, everyday rage. I don't have time for distinctions. I'm too busy screaming at people. " -George Carlin
