I stripped Damien of all his weapons except for a "low-impact" club. I took all his armour and health potions. We took a short excursion to the Battlefields where he got beaten to within an inch of his life. Then, we took the rift to Rivellon . . . and when we arrived, Damien had mysteriously recharged all his health points and had found a brand new Death Knight hammer or something with which he beats the crap out of me. (Repeat the entire process numerous times with minor variations but the same outcome until frustration sets in).
