The first time I faced Damien I had a pure melee character... couldn't get through to him... untill I tried out Berserk (lvl8).
He was died in 30 secs... along with the creatures he summoned. (killing the creature he summoned in 1 blow, then went on to attack Damien again).
The second time I transferred all mana plus items (DK was mage) to my hero, giving him around 900 mana and learned Hammer (lvl11). With the help of tons of mana potions (had found and bought over 1000 during the game, hardly used one up to this point) I got him... no summoned monsters, but it took forever to get him down... It looked like he had way more vitality points then the first time... both on hardcore. (first finish on patch 1.32, second on patch 1.44).
Question: I started on hardcore because I thought the options where easy to hard... is tactical easier like I think, or a different way?
