Do you have to make a choice in the interference test? I'm at the part with the 2 kings, give one the shield or the other the sword? I don't like the outcome of either choice. You know the old proverb "give a man some fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for life." Sheeesh, just teach the other king to sow his own fields, give him some fertilizer or something.

Would I still pass the test if I don't make a choice in this matter? It must be a moral issue for me. heh..

Guess I have to since the door remains locked till you do. Talk about consequences!

Choose as you wish - nothing has an impact on your quest XP. I understand you fully, I didn't like that part either.

You can keep a clean conscience on this one - it's a false moral choice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The defending king is protecting his people; the invading king is willing to try nothing except putting a peaceful people to the sword. No trading, no ship building or seeking new lands, no leading his people peacefully to a new territory - only war!

The defending king is clearly occupying the moral high ground. I had NO qualms <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Oh, yeah? And how did you decide afterwards? As the conqueror was a beggar? give money or not?
Kiya

No, I didn't like either options. I think Arianna is right - I would've like to find a scroll or something, to teach them to grow grain - or persuade the defender to share his stuff and knowledge. I mean, he was as stupid as the conqueror => a miser.

Give money, of course. He'd changed, after all <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Nope. The defending king has only enough for his people, he says. If he tries to feed the other king's people, everyone starves.

As both sides are (seemingly) being completely truthful, I found it quite easy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Callous of me, I know <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Bah, Elliot - it is a common excuse to refuse aid, by saying "I don't have enough for 2". No, I didn't like either king <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />
Anyway => it makes no difference in XP.
