thanks winterfox. can't play on my old ps as it has, errr, retired, already. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

i think a plot involving love doesn't have to be "fluffy". a solid storyline is all that's needed. i just thought that in rpg's, too often the hero sets out to save the world. how 'bout saving his own personal world this time?

I'm all for personal stories.

Have you played PS:T? Sure, the hero's tale ends up spanning various planes, but at the heart of it, it's a very, very human, very personal story.

I think PS:T (Planescape's Torment) is the most unique RPG I've ever played. And it quite diverse depending on the choices your character makes. I loved the storyline and it's the only game that made me laugh until I cried. Some of the NPC's lines were just too hysterical. And I think it's a game that's got a lot of heart, despite its atmosphere.
