thanks winterfox. can't play on my old ps as it has, errr, retired, already. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

i think a plot involving love doesn't have to be "fluffy". a solid storyline is all that's needed. i just thought that in rpg's, too often the hero sets out to save the world. how 'bout saving his own personal world this time?

I'm all for personal stories.

Have you played PS:T? Sure, the hero's tale ends up spanning various planes, but at the heart of it, it's a very, very human, very personal story.

i would really love to experience a very personal rpg, too. i guess that's why the baldur's gate series is so well-loved and so popular. while the storyline is epic, yet it ultimately involves your own personal background, your mysterious past. not exactly about love, but those are the types of games that are truly engrossing to play, and the ones that will linger in your memory long after you've killed the final boss.
