I've never understood why companies that do games like this (primarily RPG) don't put out "hack" tools for players to "enchance their gameplay" with.

Some will call it cheating, but there are too many instances where a character/savegame editor is necessary to fix bugs.

Some game makers have published file formats and let the community make their own character editors, which is fine with me. I'm not ambitious enough to figure out a binary mishmash of data just to get a nifty sword, I'd rather play the bloody game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I suppose I will try to revive Tingalf the Wanker. I wonder if he will have the inventory he left with. If he doesn't have the shield.. then I'm at a loss for where the bloody thing is.

BTW: I tried importing the dragon armor (breastplate) just for giggles. It was unidentified, after getting it identified, it seemed to be fine. I restored the savegame after playing with it, I'd rather get the stuff by my own means (if possible).
