anyway, i'm pleasantly surprised that u share your love of games with your daughters & it looks like pc games do help in a way strengthening bonds between family members.

back to topic: if u don't mind furnishing me with details of your daughter's computer specs, i don't mind helping out. firstly, what OS does that computer use? what kind of network? peer to peer without a switch/hub or there is one of that in between? or are u using the existing phoneline as the medium?

since the computer's already too buggy, it'll be wiser to just re-install the OS. just make sure that u have all the drivers available.

edit: i'm sorry that my reply is so late. i didn't realise u've replied to the posts.

anyway, Win98SE cd is bootable. so u can boot from there & re-install windows. u may have to configure the BIOS so that your computer can boot from the cd.
